some OLD cards with GREAT stamps

Some of my favorite stamp sets are on the Last Chance List this year, and I had to take a peek at some old cards that I made with them.  Some of these are several years old, and some are case’d from others that I don’t have documented.

I love Wild About You.  It’s a darling and versatile set, and will no longer be available after June 30th.  (You can still get it for a few days here.)

Remember, these are kind of embarrassingly old. :)

And Big Bold Birthday?  Cuteness!  Really, click on that link and check out the whole stamp set.  Darling.

I do remember where I made that one — a couple years ago at my awesome card club (there is a much better picture here.)

Then there is this fun set, Big Flowers.

And probably the set I use the very most, Hugs & Wishes.  Seriously, I use these sentiments on most of my cards.  Actually, see the “Warm Wishes” on the above card?  Yup, same stamp set! :)   Love it, really.

Thank you for your ideas!  As promised, we just had a little family vote with your suggestions. :)   It was hard, too!  Not a lot of entries, but great ideas!

The winner is …………..

Ack!  My creativity fell asleep!  Well, here goes.stampprincess_8

Hm.  Certainly not what I was aiming for, but sometimes you just have to step back and consider it done.   FYI, there are some tufty clouds above the bird that you can’t really see in the picture.  It makes me feel better to tell you that.  :)

Birthday class

I’m doing a birthday class for a friend, Jen.  This will be so fun! img_9978_1

Each project was so fun to make.  img_9992_1

img_9986_1

That one was CASE’d almost exactly from Beate.  Check hers out here.  I liked it too much to change anything. :)

This next one is a gift card holder.

img_0006_1

Target gift card not included in the class. ;)

img_0011_1

I used Jill’s measurements for that one.

And every so often you just need a simple, masculine 3×3 card to attach to a gift.

img_0003_1

This last one came together so fast.  My husband was working in the office next to me, and I turned around to show my finished box to him.  His response?  “Whoa, did you just make that?  That fast?” img_9994_1

Yes, it really is that fast.  Love the Big Shot.

img_9999_1

In that one, the chocolate is included! :)
