Quick Build-a-Bear gift

My daughter went to a cute little friend’s 3-year-old birthday party today.  My girl loves playing with her build-a-bear magnet dolls, so we decided to make some for her little friend.

I love using these skinny tins for so many different things.  They are still available (as of now) at the online clearance rack for $.99!  (Click here, click “shop now” in the top corner, and you can find the clearance rack on the left side.)

I added the simple taffeta ribbon as an afterthought.  I simply punched a hole in the tin with my crop-a-dile (easy peasy) and looped a ribbon through.  This way there is a little handle and an easier way to open the tin for little fingers.

That picture may or may not be in focus.  :)   Okay, okay, it’s not at all.  Oops!

If you haven’t seen these Build-a-Bear dies for the Big Shot machine, you need to check them out.  There are some new accessories to go with them in the new mini catalog, too.  Cuteness!

Then the inside has a few little outfits.

Nothing too fancy, but wow, these are great for waiting rooms, church, etc.  My girl loves to play with them on the fridge at home, too.

Oh, and the magnets are non-Stampin’ Up.  I am still experimenting, trying to find some that are good and strong.  Any suggestions??  What I’ve been using are actually the heating vent covers that you buy at home improvement stores. :)   Not the strongest, but they are cheap!

Thanks for stopping by!

Laura :)

Sale-a-Bration – I’m in love :)

I am loving the choices for our Sale-a-Bration event this year!!  Seriously, this is good stuff, and I am just like you … I want it all. :)

This is my favorite event of the year, and now it has been extended to 3 months!  That should give us plenty of time to earn everything we want, right? :) hee hee.

What can you earn for FREE??

Click here to view the Sale-a-Bration brochure.

I’ve also made a nifty tool in My Digital Studio.  If you are visual, like me, and you want to see an image of the stamp sets listed on the last page of the Sale-a-Bration brochure, click here. Cool, eh? :)

(Any image that is blank just means it’s in a diff language and I couldn’t find a picture … but it’s the same as one next to it, in a different language.)

Still not sure what this is our how it works? Easy peasy.

There are 3 ways to earn FREE products right now (in addition to hostess benefits – don’t confuse these.)

Spend: For every $50 you spend with me, between now and the end of March, you earn a free Sale-a-Bration product!  Choose from a ton of stamp sets, darling paper, or even a brand new border punch!

Host: Have a party!  Well, that sounds like a fun option, huh? :) But really, it’s that easy.  If you book a workshop with me (meaning you invite your friends to your home, provide a treat, and I do the rest — including a make-and-take!), you can earn an additional free product (on top of your hostess benefits) if your workshop reaches $300 in sales.

Join!: Come play with me! :)   Whether you’re interested in starting your own fantastic business or simply in the awesome discount, pre-orders, and countless benefits of being a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator, Sale-a-Bration is the time to do this.  Not only is the starter kit discounted ($157, and that includes My Digital Studio?!?  Yes way!!), but you also choose any stamp set from the regular catalog (up to $47.95) for FREE!

Seriously, where was this deal when I signed up? :) I am very committed to my team and I will walk you through your demonstratorship (is that a word? :) ) as much or as little as you wish.  I would love to answer your questions – email me any time!

You can also visit my website (click here), click “Start Your Own Business” at the bottom right, and use the password “stampprincess” to get started.

Thanks for visiting! :)

January Card Club

Happy New Year!!  It’s been chaotic and fun, so now back to craftiness! :) This’ll be quick, but I want to post these.

These are the 3 cards we’ll be making at my card club this month.

This card is directly inspired by the monthly demonstrator magazine, Stampin’ Success.  The butterfly punch makes this card come together quickly.

And did you notice something new?  The scallop border punch is a new one from our Sale-a-Bration event!  That punch can be earned for free with any $50 purchase!  I liked the punch so much I used it again … :)

I have seen a couple people use the vines from Cheep Talk with the new Fox & Friends stamp set — cute idea, ya??  This card is most definitely inspired by Heather, seen here. Fox & Friends is my very 1st clear-mount stamp set!  Oh for heavens, I am loving this system.

I decided to add a little red heart to the card after I took the picture.  Picture it … it’s cute. :)   The monkey on the right is holding it up, and it’s popped with a dimensional.  I used the brand new small heart punch (new punch style!) from the Occasions Mini catalog.

This last one is directly inspired by Shelli Gardner (Stampin’ Up co-founder) herself. :)

This card is so simple, and just fun.  One long strip of dsp (designer series paper) is folded at the bottom, and then with a lip at the top.  Make any sense?  This makes the pocket for a little note card to slip into.

This is what the little card from inside looks like.  This is cute with just about any dsp.

The dsp used on that card is also brand new, and I loooooove this new pack of paper.  It is huge and darling and yummy.  It’s called Sweet Pea, and you can see it here.  Cute cute!

More later, tootle-oo! :)
