For our card clubs this month we get to play around a little bit with some new Summer Mini products. (If you don’t have this catalog yet, let me know!)
The papers and ribbons vary in the projects that my club girls have made/will make, but this is the basic idea.
This is a basic tri-fold card. Fun and simple to make (don’t ask my girls about the ribbon issue we had, hee hee!) and it makes a fun “wow” for whoever you give it to. Here it is all folded up …
… and this is the inside.
We used the new Elements of Style stamp set (love that hummingbird!!) and some retired paper. This would also be darling with our new Island Oasis paper, though.
This next card is a kind-of-sort-of Father’s Day card. The girls have the option of making it one if they want. We did a little bit of a fun technique, paper piecing, on the truck. So simple, but such a fun look!
We used the always cute Loads of Love stamps here. The coordinating stamp set, Loads of Love Accessories, is a bonus cutie cute set that we didn’t use on this particular card.
Our 3rd card uses that fun new Island Oasis paper. It’s bright, colorful, cheery and fun.
Aren’t the daisies cute? I love this die! We used the Daisies Flower #2 die with my Big Shot machine. We adhered them to the card using a large clear rhinestone brad and dimensional. Another bunch of flowers that would coordinate perfectly with this paper is the new Island Floral die from the Summer Mini catalog. We also used the polka dot impressions folder on the white background paper. Love the texture.
That about (quickly) covers it! Tootles!
