Thanksgiving blog header

Happy Thanksgiving!!  We have had a fantastic day with lots of family (and food, yum), and we’re settling down at home this evening.  Kids freshly bathed, snuggled in warm jammies, watching Elf … it’s a good night. :)

I want to share this with you before I switch it over to something Christmas-y.  I made a blog header for our family blog for the fall.

This was really pretty quick to throw together, and of course I used My Digital Studio!

Don’t forget that My Digital Studio is 50% off right now!  This makes it only $39.98! (Or much less, if you use your own demo discount.  Find out how to do that here.)  This program is amazing, versatile, and a lot of fun to play around with. Click here to buy it — it’s only on sale during November.

Take a peek at the rest of the Online Spectacular deals also here.  Tons of great stuff. (Including fabric, my favorite border punch, oodles of stuff.)  And if your order reaches over $150?  Free shipping and hostess benefits, whoo!

Hope you’re having a wondering holiday!  Now back to watching Elf … “Francisco! That’s fun to say! Francisco… Frannncisco… Franciscooo…”

Online Spectacular — early Black Friday?!? :)

Are you up for a little early shopping?  This is a little bit more early Cyber Monday than Black Friday I suppose, since you can shop online and have these goodies come straight to your door.  (I am a little partial to Black Friday this year, though, since it’s my birthday … but moving on … :) )

Did you see that?  FREE SHIPPING on orders over $150??  (This means you get hostess benefits and free shipping on those orders!)

This is another fantastic deal that ends this month (Nov 30th), so don’t wait to take advantage of this!

So how do you take advantage of all the great deals that Stampin’ Up has going on?  If I could do it again, this is what I would do! :) (And I will be taking advantage of these deals, too, with my discount!)

Step 1) Buy your own starter kit at 50% off at only $87.50.  This gives you over $310 worth of fantastic product — by far the greatest deal you will find.  Whether you are interested in having your own business or not, this is a great deal for anybody.  Remember, there is no catch, no obligation, no tricks — just good timing. :)

Step 2) You now have your own discount!  So now what?  If there are things that you want to get from the Online Spectacular, this is great timing.  Now you get the awesome discounts, PLUS an additional 20% off everything.  This is 70% off some great items!  Kind of a no brainer, huh? :) (Want 80% off?  Keep reading.)

You can get great gifts for your friends and family.  Consider, for example:

Scenario A) Have you considered buying a digital program for yourself or a loved one?  If you follow step A, check out what you could do here.  (Math is not my greatest strength, so let’s figure this out together … :) )

*My Digital Studio is now 50% off during the Online Spectacular.  That already makes the entire     FANTASTIC program (seriously, I use this for so many things, and I don’t even scrapbook!) only $39.98.  WOW, right?

*As a new demonstrator (if you bought your own 50% off kit), you get 30% off on your first order (w/in 45 days) over $150.  If you placed this order before Nov 30th, (here comes the math! lol) you would get FREE shipping, hostess benefits for yourself, and 30% off your whole order.

*Translation – you could buy My Digital Studio for yourself and 3 friends, get 1 free stamp set, get $15 in any product free, and pay just under $140 for all of it.  !!!!  NO wait!  That price is with your 20% discount … take another 10% off that for your 1st order as a demo! (or My Digital Studio and a Big Shot machine?  Eh??)

(NOTE: Can you get any of these deals without buying the starter kit?  Of course, this is for anyone.  I’m just showing you how to get the most for your money.)

I could go on and on with scenarios and ideas, but remember, My Digital Studio is just ONE of the deals on the Online Spectacular.  Take a peek at all the options.

Don’t wait on this one.  You don’t want to forget about this deal while you’re busy with Thanksgiving, family, fun, buying me birthday gifts (wait, did I slip that in there?:)), and all the crazy fun things happening this time of year.

Let me know if I’ve confused you and you want to talk this out :) , or contact me if you want to go over some real-life prices and #s to plan your Christmas shopping.  I can plug in some #s and let you know exactly what you would pay for any scenario.

Happy Thanksgiving, and happy shopping!

Entire starter kit … now 50% off!!

Are you ready for this amazingly fantastic deal??

If you can’t see the text on there very well, this is the whole flyer.

So what does this mean??

For the 1st time ever, you can buy a Stampin’ Up starter kit at 50% off!

Does this mean I will be a demonstrator?

Yes.  Once you buy the kit, you are automatically eligible for the awesome perks and benefits of being a Stampin’ Up demo.

So I’ll have to sell product and recruit people?

Nope!  That is completely up to you.  If you’d like a business?  This is a fantastic deal to get started, and I would love to help you out.  If you are not looking for a business, you can buy the kit, no strings attached, no obligations, just a great deal!

So what’s the catch?  Why 50% off?  It sounds too good.

I know!  It IS good, and there’s no catch!  Stampin’ Up has a goal to add new demonstrators to our stamp family this year, and this is a final push to meet that goal.  As simple as that, nothing tricky, nothing sneaky, just a great deal.

What if I already have that stamp set and ink pad color?

You choose your own stamps, ink, paper, and more!  You customize the kit to your own needs. :)

I was thinking about getting My Digital Studio … should I get this instead?

YES!!!!  Oh my goodness, yes!  You don’t pay shipping with the starter kit, so this will be nearly the exact same price that you would pay for just My Digital Studio software alone.  But, in addition, you will get about $230 more stuff for free.  It’s a definite no-brainer. :)

How do I buy this awesome kit?

Beginning Monday (Nov 15th) through the end of the month (this is a quick promo, so hurry!) just click here over to my website.  Click the “join now” button on the left, and you’ll need my password to get started.

My password = stampprincess

Have more questions?  Let me know! :)   I know there are a bunch of them.  You can also click over to my “demo FAQ” page here for a little more info, or contact me.

Don’t miss out on this one!  At this price, you can even give this as a gift!

Happy shopping. :)

stamping on candles!

If you haven’t tried this yet, stop what you’re doing, step away from the computer, and go try it.  Okay, at least put it on your to-do list. :) SO easy, such a “wow” factor.

I hadn’t tried this for years, so I just made a really simple project for this.  I was re-inspired to make this by Jill … and since I didn’t think to document any part of my creating process :) , I’m going to direct you to her blog here to check out the instructions for this cute little box.

And inside the cute little box?  Stamped tea light candles!  I have a ton of these (thank you fondue pot), so I had to give this a quick try.

With just a few supplies, you can make these lickety split.  They really were very fast.

All that you do is stamp on tissue paper, place it on the candle, and heat the wax with your heat tool.  The wax will melt a bit, the tissue paper becomes embedded, and when the wax cool — voila, just a cute image is left.  Is that not awesomely simple?

Again, Jill explains this process a bit with the tea lights, and you can find tutorials all over the web for pillar candle versions, etc.  One of these days I’ll do my own tutorial. :)

Thanks for peeking in!

November card clubs

Card club girls, if you want a surprise for club, STOP reading now! :)

Anywho …

So with it being November n’ all, we’re making a couple Christmas cards!

First up?  A penny spinner card!  These are so fun, so simple, and a big wow to the recipient.  I got this layout from one of Max’s meetings.  (her cute card seen here.)

Shooting that light pink on a white background wasn’t the greatest idea. :)   Can you see it?  I used pink pirouette here.

I love this paper!  This is from the Candy Cane Christmas paper.  Look at the awesome glossy sparkle here.

And the button?  Cuteness.  This Candy Cane paper coordinates with this pack of big buttons and even with a pack of designer fabric (You can go all sorts of crazy with the cute stuff here — also check out the coordinating stamp set … or this one, rub-ons, vinyl, and countdown calendar!)

I think maybe someone small wanted attention while I was taking these pictures. :)

This next one is almost an identical case from Dawn Olchefske.  Her card is gorgeous, and I just changed tiny things.  I even ended up using the same dsp, though I was originally planning to use the Deck the Halls paper.

The bottom of the card is an embossed & sanded window sheet!  I’m excited to show this technique to my club girlies. :)

We’re also making a non-Christmas card.  I used a birthday sentiment on the inside, but the girls can choose which sentiment they want from the curly cute stamp set.

I’m liking this layout these days.  It’s from a Stampin’ Success magazine (a magazine just for demonstrators), and I also used it in my upcoming Holly & Jolly class.

The inside is perfect for a gift card.  (My business card is just a space filler. :) )

I used the scallop envelope die, and extended it to gift card size using Patty Bennett’s handy tip.

Happy stamping, all!

Laura :)

Simply Adorned bundle (Falling Leaves)

Alrighty, I pulled out my Falling Leaves stamps again!  And why did I do that, you ask?  Because my awesome upline Max just gave me a lovely gift, that’s why! :)   She pampered me for my recent promotion, and I am very excited and grateful!  Yay!

So lookie, my new necklace chain and charm!  (You can also get a peek at some of the baubles there, too!)

I didn’t do anything fancy here, just a quick little fallish something.  The leaves are the back, and this is the front.

The letters look doubled on the right side because of the cute shape to the charm. (And I cut of the “blessings” there, ha.  Remember, this was a very quick version. :) )

SOOO easy and quick!  And FUN!

So the really good news?  Remember these 20% of holiday bundles that we have right now?? Pay special attention to page 3 …

Wait, did you see that?  The Simply Adorned gift bundle??  I love this!  You get the chain, a charm, and the coordinating stamp set at a 20% discount!

And guys?  Any guys out there in my blog land? :)   These are great gifts for the ladies.  I’ll even throw in some inserts for ya if you want, fellas, so you can wrap it up all ready for her to wear.  Not a bad deal, eh? :)

Check out the bundles here and shop online 24/7, or contact me anytime.

Curtain Call Act 54 – Grateful

I’ve never done a curtain call challenge before!  I’ve seen them, and I used to do Kristina Werner’s color challenges (here and there :) ), so yay, I finally get to play!  I like color challenges … they give me a fun challenge to create something just for fun.

Ooooh, fun and festive, no?  I thought about rebelling against my instincts and not doing a fall-themed card … but I caved. :)

‘Tis the season, after all.  I also realized that I really wanted to toss in some early espresso, but I was a good girl and stuck with just the colors for this challenge. :)

For this card I used the sometimes overlooked Falling Leaves stamp set.

I love it.  And I admit, I’m a sucker for cute acorns. (Though not shown on this card.  Also a reason I love the Day of Gratitude stamps.)

I also used the Autumn Spice designer series paper, pumpkin pie grosgrain ribbon, the awesome vintage wallpaper embossing folder, and my piercing tool and mat pack.

Thanks for peeking in!
