stamp princess jr. #2 – finding inspiration!

My little miss just made her *2nd* video tutorial! :)

This time we are showing something kind of fun — how to find inspiration in the things around you.

This is one of her favorite shirts.  I love the colors and flowers also.  So this was our inspiration for our card!

We sat down together to match colors and flowers … and then she shows you herself how we made a card. :)

Enjoy! (don’t mind my choppy late-night quick edit:)

*note* This is a larger card, and we actually just show the card front here.  The next step would of course to be to place this on a large card front … it just isn’t shown. :)

Halloween Baby — by Michelle

Oh my goodness, prepare yourself for some CUTENESS!

I literally gasped when I got this card in the mail.  Ask my husband … we were in the car, and he wondered what I was gasping at. :)

Ack!  And as if it’s not just a cute card, it’s a BABY SHOWER card!  Baby is due on (or near?) Halloween, so this is just darling and oh so appropriate. :)

The Window Frame shape is perfect there. (Spooky font!  Hee hee!)

This stamp set is a favorite of mine right now.  Have I mentioned my weakness for cute Halloween stuff?  You can get the googlies eyes and stamp set and a cute kit all together here.

Michelle also used the darling Bitty Banners framelits to cute the cute banner with the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set.  All pieces fit together just right — so cute.

Thanks for letting me share this cutie, Michelle! :)   So fun.

Snowflake bling

I was having some fun making snowflakes sparkle. :)

I used the snowflake flurry die to cut out a silver piece with our glimmer paper and a raspberry ripple piece also.

To make the raspberry snowflake sparkle, I sprinkled it with heat & stick powder, heat set it, and then (while it was still sticky) sprinkled on our super sparkly dazzling diamonds.

*sparkle sparkle*

:)

Happy stamping to you!

Stamp to the Max blog hop — Halloween & Fall!

Welcome to the blog hop! :)

We’re celebrating all things Autumn-ish!  I am a huge sucker for all things Halloween, but I decided to go with the more general fall theme this time.

A favorite stamp set of mine for this time of year is the Day of Gratitude set.

The images are crisp, fun, and SO fun to color with markers or just ink and stamp!

I love this embossing folder!  (Lacy brocade from holiday catalog.)  It’s a new favorite. :)

I was excited when I realized the sentiment fit so cute with the smallest label in this framelit collection.

Other supplies used on this card: dotted scallop ribbon punch (the pool party colored piece) & ruffled ribbon.

I couldn’t resist playing with the larger medallion stamp, too!

Plus, I love having those fall-ish thank you cards on hand. :) The Sassy Salutations stamp just seemed perfect here. It’s just that … sassy.

The medallion image is embossed in clear, so here is a better angle of the glossy fun.

Other supplies used on this card: 1-1/4″ scallop circle punch, scallop dots ribbon, linen thread, & a designer button.
