My baby just turned 1!!
I only have a minute (since little birthday girl herself just woke up), but I want to show you my quick crafty doo-dads that I made for her party.
1st, and a bit ridiculous
, I decided last minute that I wanted her little cake on a pedestal of some sort. After a quick rummage, I grabbed a tupperware bowl and figured that was good enough. And let’s not be silly, you know I covered it in some designer series paper that matched the frosting.
(I used Tea Party dsp.)
To save money on quick decorations (it was just a small family party), I pulled out a tablecloth that we had from my older daughter’s birthday party. I took a peek at it and realized, “hey lookie, daisies!” You know where I’m going with this, right?
Yup, my good ol’ Big Shot machine! I grabbed some paper in colors that matched the tablecloth, my Daisies Flower die, and ran them through my machine a bunch of times. Yay for quick and easy … and inexpensive!! Yay! I put these flowers on the table and door and all around. I would have had more, but I ran out of that sticky tack stuff that I was using to put them on the walls. Oopsie.
Don’t look too close at that cake … umm, I had 2 cranky kids at my ankles while I tried to frost it, if that is any excuse.
Happy birthday to my little lady!

I will return with more soon!!
