My daughter went to a cute little friend’s 3-year-old birthday party today. My girl loves playing with her build-a-bear magnet dolls, so we decided to make some for her little friend.
I love using these skinny tins for so many different things. They are still available (as of now) at the online clearance rack for $.99! (Click here, click “shop now” in the top corner, and you can find the clearance rack on the left side.)
I added the simple taffeta ribbon as an afterthought. I simply punched a hole in the tin with my crop-a-dile (easy peasy) and looped a ribbon through. This way there is a little handle and an easier way to open the tin for little fingers.
That picture may or may not be in focus.
Okay, okay, it’s not at all. Oops!
If you haven’t seen these Build-a-Bear dies for the Big Shot machine, you need to check them out. There are some new accessories to go with them in the new mini catalog, too. Cuteness!
Then the inside has a few little outfits.
Nothing too fancy, but wow, these are great for waiting rooms, church, etc. My girl loves to play with them on the fridge at home, too.
Oh, and the magnets are non-Stampin’ Up. I am still experimenting, trying to find some that are good and strong. Any suggestions?? What I’ve been using are actually the heating vent covers that you buy at home improvement stores.
Not the strongest, but they are cheap!
Thanks for stopping by!
Laura
